![]() The village of Sedlescombe is a focal point in an area of great beauty and interest. Nearby are the picturesque seaside towns of Rye and Winchelsea, whilst within an easy drive are the holiday centres of Hastings, Eastbourne and Brighton. Reminders of the historic significance of the Sussex Weald are close at hand, with such famous landmarks as Battle Abbey (scene of the Battle of Hastings in 1066), Bodiam Castle and Pevensey Castle. There are numerous local golf clubs with Sedlescombe's course being just ½ mile away. The hotels owner is also a member of Cooden Beach Golf Club where we can arrange favourable fees for hotel guests, please do not hesitate to contact us.
