The established Brickwall country house hotel and restaurant in Sedlescombe has been privately owned by an Italian family, Mr & Mrs G Pollio, for over 30 years. With its team of experienced staff, many of whom are also from Italy, the hotel offers a superb family atmosphere. Featured in the Telegraph's Travel section in Paddy Burt's 'Room Service' series, the hotel welcomes regular guests year after year, and is renowned for its warm welcome, excellent dining and enjoyable atmosphere.

Or if you prefer to relax and unwind the hotel has a comfortable residents lounge and traditional-style bar as well as an attractive sun terrace, where guests are welcome to relax.
The hotel restaurant manager, Aldo Esposito and head chef, Lawrence Owens, pay particular attention to the quality and variety of food served in the dining room, with local produce being used whenever possible. To complement the cuisine the Brickwall has a well stocked wine cellar with a large range from its wine merchant of 25 years, as well as offering wine from the local Sedlescombe organic vineyard.
